Great Durable Mod
I'm extremely rough on mods. I cannot tell you how many mods I've destroyed since I started vaping. I recently purchased this mod about a month ago after my second Drag 2 mod bit the dust.

I loved the Drag 2 because it was pretty well-made, easy to use, and had easy navigation for settings. They also held up longer than other mods, but every Drag I've had (both the Drag 1 and 2 models) ended up with stripped screws and a loose plate where the tank attaches. The Drags also had problems with the charging port getting loose and the magnet coming off the battery door. I had accepted these issues because the Drags were still the most durable mod I'd used. Not anymore. The Aegis Legend is better.

The Aegis mod reminds me a lot of the Drags because it has that same durable, heavy duty feel, similar settings/use, uses the same batteries, etc., but it doesn't have the design flaws that gave me so many problems with the Drags. The Aegis is also a little bit lighter weight, the batteries are more secure, and it's waterproof. I love that it's waterproof; I've lost at least two mods to water.

The only issue I've had thus far with the Aegis mod is that sometimes it turns itself off and doesn't want to come back on. I've learned to work around this by removing the batteries and putting them back in. It's a fairly minor issue, but I took off a star for this in case that becomes more of a problem.

At first, the battery door is a little difficult to close (especially coming off the Drag's magnetic design), but I got used to it after a couple of days, and I like that it feels more secure. After the continuous issues with the charging ports on the Drags, I switched to using a separate battery charger. The charging port on the Aegis mod is covered for the waterproofing. This cover (I believe it's silicone) looks like it could be easily damaged or tear off, so I recommend using one of the separate battery chargers for this mod as well. In my opinion, they're better anyway because you don't have to wait for the batteries to charge to vape.

I'd give this mod 4.8 stars if I could. It has everything I liked about the Drags without any of the design flaws. It's also waterproof, shockproof, and dustproof. Highly recommend.
